CARMEL MELODY  AWARD MEET 2K25

 

The award distribution ceremony of the Carmel Melody 2025 Short Film Competition, organized by CMC Udaya Province, Irinjalakuda, was held on November 24 at the Carmel College Auditorium, Mala. The event was in commemoration of the canonization of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara and St. Euphrasia.

 

Mr. Sibi K. Thomas, a renowned scriptwriter and actor, inaugurated the ceremony. Mother Dhanya, Provincial Superior of CMC Udaya Province, presided over the function. Sr. Mariet, Media Councilor, welcomed the gathering and announced the awards. Dr. C. Rini Maria, Principal of Carmel College, Mala, extended her greetings, and Sr. Salina, Provincial PRO, expressed her gratitude.

 

The winners received cash awards, trophies, and certificates. The award winners are:

- *Best Director:* Alan Davis

- *Best Script:* Justin Stephen

- *Best Cinematography:* Abhiram

- *Best Editor:* Arun Raj K.S

- *Best Actor:* Sreedhiv M.S

- *Best Actress:* Mini Sunny

- *Special Jury Award:* Ragini Kodungallur, Neha P.P., Binju Jacob

- *Special Award:* Soni Angel, Sailu Chappy
