148th birth anniversary of Saint Euphrasia

           The 148th birth anniversary of Saint Euphrasia was celebrated at the Euphrasia Birthplace Chapel in Kattoor.   On her birthday, October 17, at 5 pm, a solemn Holy Mass was held, with Bishop   Mar  Pauly Kannookkadan  presiding over the ceremony. Rev. Fr. Jinsen Payyappilly (Vicar, St. Peter's Church, Poovathinkal) and Rev. Fr. Georgy Cheriyan Thelappilly (Secretary, Irinjalakuda Diocese Bishop) were the co-celebrants. Mother Dhanya, the Provincial Superior of CMC Udaya Province, expressed her gratitude to all who made this occasion special. Mother Prasanna CMC (Vicar General, Generalate, Aluva) and Sr. Sheela CMC (Vicar Provincial, Thrissur) were also present. Very Rev. Fr. Joshy Paliekkara (Vicar, Carmala Matha Forane Church, Edathiruthy), Sr. Nirmala CMC (Superior, Euphrasia Convent, Kattoor), Sr. Sheeba CMC (Director, Euphrasia Square, Kattoor), and Lonnachan Uruvath (Feast Convener) led the feast celebrations.
